This tea is delicious and has plenty of health benefits.

Ingredients

  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger

  • 1 cinnamon stick (or ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon)

  • 2 cups of water

  • Honey or sugar to taste (optional)

  • A slice of lemon (optional, for extra flavor)

Directions

  • Prepare the Ingredients
  • Start by washing the fresh ginger.
    Peel the ginger using a small knife or the edge of a spoon. This removes the skin.
    Once peeled, slice the ginger into thin pieces. Aim for about 5-6 slices. The thinner the slices, the stronger the flavor!
  • Boil the Water
  • Pour 2 cups of water into a small saucepan.
    Place the saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to high. You want to bring the water to a boil.
  • Add Ginger and Cinnamon
